GetTogether the night before – A beautiful beginning
A wedding weekend of a different kind. This gay wedding – guaranteed to be remembered – began with a sensational kick-off. The wedding of this wonderful couple, who warmly welcomed their guests the evening before at the Steiner Wirt in Lofer, was a true expression of pure joy for life. With pleasant temperatures, everything started off in a wonderfully relaxed way as the first glasses of champagne were served and the guests tuned into the excitement of the days to come.
An absolute highlight of the evening was the captivating performance by a group of professional dancers, who set the celebratory mood from the very beginning. The evening was accompanied by music from Jengis, who not only created the perfect atmosphere as a DJ, but also impressed with live vocals and saxophone performances. When a champagne tower was unveiled later in the evening, there was no stopping the party. Guests danced, laughed, and celebrated on the terrace late into the night – the perfect start to a truly special wedding weekend.

The big day – Emotional ceremony with a stunning panorama
After a short night and a leisurely breakfast, the highlight of the weekend began – the wedding day! The couple consciously chose to spend their getting ready together in their room. With great attention to detail, they helped each other into their perfectly coordinated wedding outfits before heading up to the Loderbichl Alm with family and friends. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed and had a chance to gather themselves over a small refreshment before the ceremony began.
The ceremony took place on an idyllic meadow behind the alpine hut – a location that impressed with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. A beautifully decorated wedding arch adorned with lush florals, along with rustic hay bales for guest seating, completed the romantic setting. Each groom made his way to the ceremony accompanied by a close loved one, while their family and friends awaited them with emotional anticipation. The heartfelt ceremony left hardly a dry eye. Anita, who accompanied the ceremony as a speaker, masterfully put the couple’s deep love and connection into words. Jengis once again captivated everyone with his wonderful voice as he provided the musical background for the ceremony.
After the emotional “I do”, the newly married couple was celebrated with roaring applause and waving flags (or rather, napkins). Afterwards, everyone returned to the front of the alpine hut, where a beautifully set table was waiting. Following a short speech by the couple, an exquisite dinner was served, accompanied by musical highlights: Laura, a violinist with an electric violin, and Marc, a saxophonist, together with DJ Chen, created an unforgettable atmosphere. The party vibe was already in the air during dinner. But when the dessert – a delicious apricot cake – was presented with sparklers amid loud cheers, the crowd went wild. It’s no surprise that the transition into the party was seamless and the celebration continued late into the night. What a day!

After Party in the mountains – A perfect conclusion
Following a wild night, the next day began with some well-deserved sleep before everyone gathered in the early afternoon for an after party in the Almenwelt Lofer. After taking the gondola up into the mountains, a special experience was already waiting for the wedding guests: two tractors – one of them with a specially converted trailer – were ready to take everyone to a nearby alpine hut. While the guests took their seats in the trailer, the newlyweds rode along on a separate tractor, instantly setting a fun and lively mood once again.
Upon arriving at the alpine hut, the team from the Steiner Wirt was already waiting with a delicious BBQ. Traditional live music set a relaxed yet festive atmosphere. The final hours together were spent reminiscing about the day before, dancing once again, and celebrating the special bond shared by everyone present. A wonderful wedding weekend came to an end in the early evening – full of emotion, unique moments, and unforgettable experiences.

Why same-sex weddings are close to my heart as a wedding photographer
As a wedding photographer, it is very important to me to capture love in all its facets – free from clichés and prejudice. Same-sex weddings are especially close to my heart because they often stand even more strongly for freedom, individuality, and genuine emotion. Every love story deserves to be celebrated and captured in authentic images. It brings me great joy to accompany couples on their journey and preserve their unforgettable moments for eternity.
