Karin and Leon already shared a bit of history with me. The two are from northern Germany and had planned to say their vows at a winter wedding in Fieberbrunn some time ago. We were all beyond excited, as their plans were truly adventurous. In my mind, I could already see the images I would capture of them skiing down the slopes in a suit and wedding dress.
Unfortunately, the pandemic – now all too familiar to all of us – stepped in and changed everything. With heavy hearts, they ultimately decided to celebrate their love in an intimate ceremony at home, surrounded by only their closest people.
I was super excited when Leon reached out to me a year later and told me they would be spending a few days back in the area – and asked if we could finally make up for the shoot. Of course, I was instantly all in. And so, we not only spent a fun-filled afternoon in the mountains, but also created beautiful memories they had been wishing for so much.
